Object Description

A stunning set of gilt metal cutlery consisting of 16 knives, 16 forks and 8 serving spoons. The cast handles are very ornate and have grape and vine leaf decoration. All in the original mahogany veneer box with 2 pull out trays and brass fittings. Length of knife 22 cms, fork 18 cms, spoon 20 cms. Maker Harrison Brothers and Howson. Circa 1897.

Object Condition

This rare antique gilt metal cutlery is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The knives are stamped with the makers mark. There is some veneer damage to the box.

Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
