A late 19th century Victorian walnut campaign bed and lounger by Leveson & Son.
The day bed has a maker’s label underneath “Leveson & Sons, 90 & 92 New Oxford St, 21 Park Side Knightsbridge, London”.
The bed has a walnut frame with six walnut legs that have attractive gilt brass and pottery casters and can be removed for transport.
The bed has three walnut framed bergére panels that can be adjusted and angled with supports.
When not is use one end hinges to reduce the length of the bed.
The bed has its original horse hair buttoned mattress and pillow.
The frame and bergére are in very good condition with a few chip marks, the mattress and pillow are worn. (Circa 1890)
