Object Description
A 19th century Victorian brass bound camphor wood trunk.
The trunk carrying handles to the sides along with brass strapping, corners, keyhole escutcheons and a military plate to the front.
The trunk has a hinged lid and when opened there is the wonderful aroma of camphor.
The lid has three brass hinges and a canvas strap to support the lid when open.
Inside the trunk there is a space to the right hand side where a candle storage box would have been.
The trunk is solid camphor wood and in good condition with some histroic marks from use. (Circa 1890)
