Object Description

Circa 1860, pair of profusely carved shield plaques. With rococo styling to the top and paper fold designs, the centre is bombe-shaped and is carved with the fleur-de-lis and lion rampant. The other plaque has a similar shape but the centre has a wheat sheath and there are three carved cockerels.
Size 75 cm high x 60 cm wide
