A magnificent 19th century Victorian heavy cast brass fender.
The fender has a rounded and reeded top edge with a pair of round finials a third of the way in at each end.
The bottom edge has a moulded frame that is break front in two places below the finials and has urn shaped castings below.
Along the front of the fender are three wonderful cast lion masks on a gadrooned background and at the corners are cast acanthus decoration.
The fender is in good condition and is heavy so would need two people to lift. (Circa 1870)
