Object Description
Victorian diamond earrings. A matching pair, each set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back cut-down setting, two in total with a combined weight of 3.30 carats, both diamonds with slight chips, to an elegant drop design featuring curving stylised claws, an intricately pierced decorative gallery and open circular backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure hinged hook and clasp, approximately 1.9cm in length. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1880.
These earrings are accompanied by a fitted box.
