Object Description
Circa 1850, Victorian partners desk in a figured golden oak. The top with moulded edges and a new gilt-tooled, red hide writing surface. The front with adjustable pull-out hide-covered writing slide over 3 frieze drawers with twin wooden knobs and Bramah locks. All supported on twin pedestals with cupboards containing 3 graduated drawers with brass swan-neck handles. The reverse of the desk with a similar configuration of cupboards, real drawers and writing slide.
