A 19th century Victorian mother of pearl card case.
The case has mother of peal border panels on the front and back which are decoraitvely engraved, the middle panels cosist of a mosaic of rectangles and the cased is edged with tortoise shell.
The case has a working hinge and locking catch and a silver panel on the top tortoise shell panel.
The case is in an unrestored condition with a few chips to the mother of pearl and the hinge is slightly loose. (Circa 1880)
