Victorian Walnut ‘Bobbin’ Turned Chair
An early 19th century Victorian walnut ‘Bobbin’ turned chair.
The chair has a high back made up from bobbin turned rails and a seat covered in a 19th century needlework upholstery.
The chair’s front legs and cross stretchers are turned to match and the back legs are nicely shaped, turned and kick out.
The chair has a lovely original colour to the walnut and is in very good condition.
The upholstery was removed to replace the webbing and then re-applied. (Circa 1840)
