Vintage Cartier diamond dress ring. Set with eight round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.60 carats, to an elegant curving marquise shape cluster featuring curving claws, a granulated border and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shouders displaying an intricate openwork lattice of foliate motifs, flowing through to a D-shape shank with spring. Tested yellow gold and platinum, signed ‘Cartier Paris’, numbered ‘0119’, French, circa 1960, accompanied by Cartier box.
