Object Description
Vintage diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, G colour, SI2 clarity with an approximate weight of 1.51 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with twelve rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.15 carats, encircled by six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.91 carats, to a sunburst coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the slightly raised tapering shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) report #1206076867.
