Object Description
This is a really fine example of a lowboy from the age of walnut. Interestingly it is partly finished at the back and the molding runs all the way around the top as if it was intended to be free standing. Another great feature is the double cock beading. This has been applied to the outside of the drawer area rather than to the drawer itself. Good colour and patination which will improve with beeswax. English circa 1710
