Object Description
A stunning German jugendstil silver plated twin handled soda syphon or bottle holder made by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) and dating from circa 1906. The holder is of rounded cylindrical shape standing raised on four feet on a wide rounded and shaped foot with moulded scroll applied to the body combining with pierced elements with tall scroll handles applied to either side with decorative pierced design terminals. The holder is numbered 47 and is impressed WMF EP with I/O and XO quality marks to the base.
