Object Description
Chinese early 18th Century Yongzheng blue and white porcelain shaped tea pot stand. Made at the kilns at Jingdezhen for export to Europe c 1730.
A more interesting design than usual as it shows the usual figures on a terrace in front of the Pagoda but here there is chariot ‘parked ‘ to the side of it with a charioteer next to it in a hat.
the foreground shows the typical rock work with peony and chrysanthemums all below a shading willow tree.
Excellent colour and subject matter
