Object of the Week – Enamel and Diamond Brooch / Pendant
c.1910
£1,950
A beautiful purple, pink and yellow enamel pansy brooch, with diamond centre. The piece can also be worn as a pendant.
The pansy is the birth flower of February, and its symbolic meanings include love of one person for another: it was therefore popular in the Victorian era for conveying this message through ‘the language of flowers’.
