A fine and impressive antique 0.42 carat natural blue sapphire and 0.40 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold cocktail ring; part of our antique gemstone ring collection.
This fine and impressive Edwardian sapphire ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The marquise shaped mount features three oval mixed cut natural blue sapphires displayed in a vertical formation.
The sapphires are surrounded eighteen pavé set old Dutch cut diamonds.
The bifurcating, scroll design ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The hallmarks to the interior of the ring shank include the maker’s mark for Edward Durban & Co. (D&Co), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the Chester Assay Office mark (three sheaves) and the date letter for 1901 (A)
This early 1900s dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
