Object Description
A decorative and ornate set of antique dado height carved oak wall panelling dating from the 1870s. Made from solid oak, these Victorian wall panels have a rich wood colour that looks beautiful in any period setting. Each one is detailed to the top with differing yet similar carved panels of an ecclesiastical style, created at the hand of a talented woodworker during the mid-19th century and exceptionally preserved for over 150 years.
This set comprises of 14 individual wall panels of varying size plus a quantity of skirting, cornice and vertical spacers (pictured). There is not enough skirting and cornice to fit the full run of panelling. Together, the individual carved oak panels create a handsome set of 13.15 m dado-height wall panelling to suit a Victorian cottage or traditionally styled townhouse.
A video showcasing all 14 panels, skirting, cornice and vertical spacers is available – please enquire for details.
