Object Description

An early 30-hour single-handed bird-cage clock movement, mounted on a wall bracket.

The 8-inch brass dial is of classic styling for the period; it has a silvered Roman chapter ring with inner quarter-hour track, a matted centre and the corners with well cast spandrels.

The 30-hour chain wound movement strikes the hours on a bell.

Original steel hand.
