Object Description
A fine and extremely rare vintage wristwatch in rose gold by Patek Philippe, reference 2440, made in 1950.
The large 18 carat rectangular case with fluted lugs. Snap back case.
The 18 jewel round shaped 10-200 calibre damascened nickel manual movement jewelled to the centre with bimetallic compensation balance and swan neck precision regulator.
Silvered dial with raised rose gold dart indexes, Arabic numerals for 12. Raised rose gold trefoil indexes for 3 & 9. Subsidiary seconds dial at 6. Rose gold dauphine hands. Black minute and seconds chapters.
