Object Description

George III mahoganyl kettle Stand from the middle of the 18th century, in the manner of Thomas Chippendale.
The form and execution of all aspects of this piece exceed. From design, crisp acanthus carved and upturned fluid scrolling cabriole legs, to the stop reeded and leaf carved vase column. It is also worth noting the sleepy and untouched patinated surface.
