Object Description
A Delightful George III Period Mahogany Chest Of Four
Long Drawers And Brushing Slide Having Caddy Mould
Edge To Top And Original Swan Neck Handles
Standing On Original Elegant Splay Feet And
Shaped Frieze
(A fine quality 18th century chest of drawers that despite
being relatively plain in design exudes class and elegance.
The caddy moulded edge to the top is a lovely and rare
feature and is very well executed. The choice of timbers
throughout are excellent and the top well figured. The
drawers still run beautifully and are as fit for purpose as
the day they were made. On top of all that the chest retains
original handles and original splay feet which have somehow
survived the test of a couple of centuries use)
