A Very Attractive 18th Century Walnut Wall Mirror, Of Rare Unusually Small Proportions, Having Very Attractive Carved Pierced Fretwork Frame, Enclosing Replacement Rectangular Mirror Plate Set Within Cross Grain Moulding.
This is a very attractive little 18th century wall mirror which retains a good untouched colour and surface.
The fretwork carved frame is well executed and very elegant and there is no significant damage of any kind to speak of.
It is a rare small size which of course really broadens the possibilities in terms of the spaces which it could be utilised in around the home.
The mirror plate itself is a relatively recent replacement and therefore remains in pretty good condition.
As with all the items which we offer for sale this Georgian mirror has received a natural wax polish and been inspected by our highly skilled and trained antique furniture restorers to ensure it is in its best possible condition before being presented for sale.
