Impressive Italian late 18th century neoclassical Louis XVI giltwood center table: the table is raised on four fluted tapering legs which are headed with foliage, the frieze zone being decorated with a rare and unusual carved drapery and tassels ornament. Green and grey mottled marble top.
The design of the center with its clear, strict outline and its remarkable frieze decoration of stylized drapery and tassels appears almost of a modern concept and therefore fits perfectly into a classical as well as a modern ambiance.
