Object Description
Circa 1700, Jacobean oak chest of drawers. The rectangular top in quarter-cut oak with a mellow colour and patina over 4 graduated drawers (the upper drawer with a secret locking mechanism). The drawers have brass drop handles and escutcheons, geometric mouldings to the drawer fronts and back to front quarter-cut oak liners. The sides of the chest with panels, and all over a moulded base and bun feet.
