Object Description
Late 18th century English George 3rd mahogany and kingwood banded serpentine shape chest of drawers in good clean condition. 4 long drawers with cock beaded edges and kingwood cross banding. The drawers are all oak lined and have period contempory but not original bold brass swan neck handles. The top is a wonderful early flame mahogany veneer with wide kingwood cross banding and a round moulded edge. The chest is a nice colour.
The condition is pretty good overall but there are a few old veneer repairs to the front edges between the drawers.
