Object Description
Circa 1785 – A late 18th Century Mahogany Tambour Fronted Library Desk. The sliding tambour top opens to show a sliding gilt tooled dark blue leather lined writing surface and fitted interior of ten small drawers and pigeon holes flanking a central door, the desk having two half width drawers to the frieze and raised on square section tapering legs terminating in spade feet.
This desk has a polished mahogany panelled back making it a free standing Desk or Library Centre Piece.
