A stylish late 19th century sterling silver Monteith bowl with detachable rim. The centre front is elegantly hand engraved with a ‘wreath’ cartouche and the surrounding panels have beautiful chinoiserie workmanship. The bowl has creative designed hinged lion mask handles and the upper rim has stylish notches with foliate engraving for highlights.
