Delicately handcrafted, this 19th century wrought iron gate overthrow is made to the highest quality by a skilled blacksmith. It is an excellent example of 19th century English metalwork, elegantly crafted with scrolling details, twists and leaves, showcasing the true talent of the maker. In a striking colour contrast, finely made copper flowers ornament both sides, making this item a highly detailed architectural feature for a property. Of the Arts and Crafts era, it will look spectacular beneath the shelter of a porch or on its stand as an item of decorative sculpture in an interior.
