Object Description
Dine in style with this beautiful, one of a kind antique dessert service. The service features twenty-eight pieces, each of which has been beautifully crafted from frosted glass with parcel gilt detailing. The design of the service is inspired by natural forms such as shells and snakes.
The set consists of three centrepiece bowls (tazze) on stems with ruby snakes coiled around them, and two water jugs with ruby serpents for handles. It also includes twelve smaller plates, two larger plates, three bowls on stems (two of which are fluted), four shell-shaped dishes (two of which are set on dolphin-form supports) and a pair of goblets.
