(This desk is slightly unusual in design being constructed in
one piece as opposed to the usual 3 piece design for a pedestal
desk. It is also constructed from wonderful quality oak which retains
a superb untouched colour and patina and the overall design of the
desk has a slight gothic taste to it. The knobs are original and the
leather has been replaced recently, but is not brand new. All in all this
desk is a great size for a modern home and has real character.)
