Object Description

A rare and very stylish 19th Century French Mahogany Empire influenced folding fire screen, having an ormolu finial, a pair of Swans head mounts and scrolling foliate decoration twisting around the central column. Each leaf hinged and raised on a turned base, circa 1880.
