Object Description
A wonderful late 19th Century French Annular Louis XVI style gilded ormolu revolving mantel clock, depicting putti representing the arts and music, either side of a rotating tole urn with Roman enamel numerals and a Serpent that indicates the time. The eight day duration movement that chimes on the hour and half hour. The pedestal supporting the urn clock and the plinth beneath each having Sevres style porcelain plaques with a romantic scene, exotic birds, flowers and musical instruments.
