Circa 1860, neat 19th century French freestanding walnut (or vide poche) side table. The cross banded serpentine front top has a tooled leather inset which slides in both directions to reveal a fitted interior. It has one dummy drawer and two cross banded walnut drawers with brass escutcheons, and the cabriole supports lead to a lower tier with inlaid geometric design in exotic woods. The gables and the back also feature exotic wood inlay.
