Object Description
A late 19th century mahogany serpentine shaped serving table in the Adam style of fine patina.
This table consists of a finely figured mahogany top with a double border of boxwood and mahogany stringing surrounded by a mahogany banding with an ebony edge.
This leads down to a mahogany crossbanded front edge leading down to a moulded frieze consisting of carved fluted decoration with superbly carved oval paterae both to the front and sides.
The table is supported by four moulded and tapered legs with finely carved and pierced brackets to the top of the front legs.
This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
