A very good quality 19th Century Oak Victorian marble topped four tier whatnot.
Having a square inset marble top with carved moulded edge above a panelled frieze with inset carved oak lined drawer.
The three lower tiers support by quality ring turned barley twist supports with the whole being raised on turned feet and carved platform base. This whatnot is finished in the same manner to the rear being panelled and polished therefore enabling this piece to stand freely within the room.
In extremely good condition having been restored using traditional methods this unusual and decorative whatnot dating to circa 1870 has a fine rich colour and good proportions.
