Object Description
A Very Good Quality Mid 19th Century William IV Period Rosewood Waterfall Type Side Cabinet, Of Extremely Unusual Design, Having Attractive Stepped Shelves To Top, With Elegant Scrolling, Turned And Carved Supports To Ends, Over Two Upholstered Panel Doors Enclosing Shelf, With Elegant Brass Grill Decoration, Standing On Original Plinth Base.
This extremely functional piece of mid 19th century furniture is both exceptionally elegant and also lovely quality. It is of superb quality in terms of the timber and construction and is a real juxtaposition of styles featuring some regency elements, but also some other almost victorian type features.
One thing is for sure however and that is the fact it is incredibly useful indeed. Lots of staorage, lots of display space and a lovely shallow depth. This would allow it to be used in a dining room, living room, hallway, study, or any other room where elegance and storage is required.
As with all items which we offer for sale this 19th century side cabinet has been inspected by our specialist, trained and highly skilled antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish before being placed on sale to ensure it is in the very best possibly condition and ready for immediate placement within the home or office.
