Object Description
Great size 19th century walnut veneered free standing writing table. The table is finished all round with two full width drawers to one side and dummy drawers to the other side. The table retains its original gilded brass mounts all round and original escutions. The whole piece is inalid with a geometrical pattern in what looks like maple. The table has and old if not original black leather insert to the top. The drawers are mahogany lined with patent brass locks with a working key for each drawer. The table is in good condition and is a nice mellow colour with waxed finish.
