Object Description
Circa 1870. A stylish French pink variegated marble and ormolu mounted 3-piece clock set. The clock surmounted by a bronze cherub resting on a gilded cushion, the case of the clock in pink variegated marble, the painted face with stylish swags and tails and the name ‘Perroux’ at the top and ‘Angers’ beneath with pierced gilded handles and Arabic numerals. With pierced mounts to the fronts and sides and a stylish platform base resting on four gilded feet, with a pair of candlesticks of similar design which have been recently converted to electricity. The clock has been serviced and is working.
