This fine and impressive multi-gem vintage brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with platinum settings.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a bird, perched upon a branch; the design delineates to a Cartier creation.
The medial portion of the bird’s body is comprised of an impressive claw set 35.38ct citrine.
The eye of the bird is represented with an individually collet set cabochon cut chalcedony, totalling 0.10ct.
The chest, crown and central portion of the erect tail are ornamented with platinum settings accented with a total of twenty-one transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This vintage diamond and gemstone bird brooch is further embellished with a textured design, replicating the details of the bird’s feathers and anatomical features, in addition to the branch’s bark.
The brooch secures to the reverse with an 18 ct yellow gold hinged pin and security clasp.
This gemstone brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum.
This impressive vintage 1950s brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
