Object Description
Sydney Buck (Irish, fl.1839-1849) Watercolour of a young girl. Signed and dated to the front right hand botton corner Sydney Buck 1844.
There is a contemporary hand written label to the back of the original frame, “Frame to be placed with the light on the right hand side of the pelmet.
Sydney Buck was the son of the miniaturist Adam Buck. He exhibited at the Royal Academy 1839-49.
