Object History

Object Literature

Packing a lot of characterful decorative here for the price.

Object Condition

The rustic and provincially made carcass has a wonderful patina, with a host of character commensurate with its age and heavy use and it remains steady on its feet. The knob handles are original though have some small losses, and under them they have some nice labels reading ‘nuts’ and ‘odds…?’ which are both just visible, and there have been no additions to the piece since its creation. There has at some stage been a large item of furniture been placed underneath the table and to accommodate it the former owner has removed the inner sides of each turning so the lower turnings to each leg are only half present. Overall it could be used as is and enjoyed as a beautiful decorative piece.
