Object Description
A fine Victorian brown oak and marquetry easel of elegant scrolled form, dating from the mid-19th century. The adjustable framework is richly decorated with finely inlaid lines and arabesque motifs, the whole displaying the quality of craftsmanship and decorative restraint characteristic of the period.
The easel retains strong proportions and presence, making it both a practical and highly decorative piece.
