Object Description
A finely carved fruitwood cane with royal and masonic symbols, the pokerwork handle made to resemble tortoiseshell, with a nickel band, the shaft profusely and meticulously carved with three sections comprising firstly a crown and anchor, Prince of Wales feathers, a Masonic set square and compass and Britannia’s shield, secondly the floral symbols of Great Britain; shamrock, rose and thistle, thirdly oak leaves and acorns and finally vines, each thematic section separated by a carved buckled belt.
