A Florentine Pietra Dura Panel of good size
Set into a black slate ground, the hardstones include Lapis Lazuli, Yellow Sienna, Sicilian Jasper and Breccia Rosso, and portray three Italian musicians, the men cross gartered, and playing pipes, the female with a tambourine.
