Object Description

A charming George II period mahogany footstool in the Chinoiserie manner to designs published by Thomas Chippendale and Ince and Mayhew.
The frame decorated with blind fret supported on four scroll feet, re-upholstered and covered in antique silk fabric in the traditional manner. c.1755.
