A Good Charles II Oak Split Chest of Drawers
Measuring approximately 40 1/2″ x 39 1/2″ x 21 3/4″ ( width, height, depth)
A rare survivor in exceptional condition for it’s age.
The four drawer fronts decorated with geometric mouldings, three in a figure of eight pattern synonymous with the period also retaining their brass ‘teardrop’ pulls on delightful rose back plates, original locks and key.
This chest splits into two pieces for transportation and locks back together on oval pegs set into the lower section.
