Object Description

From our collection of Japanese Meiji-era works of art, this impressive Bronze Koro by the Nogawa Company and standing on tripod legs. The Koro with a dramatic graduating collar to the neck, stylised Baku ears and a Kirin as a sculptural Knop to the lid. The body of the Koro is decorated with a sinuous wrap-around design of flowering Wisteria, and bats against a full Moon.
