Object Description
Circa 1880. An exhibition-quality French kingwood and gilt metal mounted lectern in the Rococo style. The hinged shaped top with grey leather insert, opens to a simple interior, to the sides there are two rectangular pull-out pen and ink drawers. Beneath are open shelves and all supported on four elegant cabriole legs finishing with well-cast scrolling ormolu sabots.
