Object Description
A large 17th century carved oak panel depicting St Odorada – possibly Odrada of Alem, who was a missionary nun in Alem, Flanders- Netherlands during 11th century.
Set within a later ebonised frame, the panel is beautifully carved with Odorada in the centre and a horse behind her. With and angel above her, she is surrounded by finely carved garlands of flowers and fruit forming a large cartouche.
The panel has some age related restorations , but is in fabulous condition and is ready to hang.
