Object Description
A large pair of 19th century cast iron lamp stands, circa 1840. In the Neo-classic manner, the lamp shaft reeded rising to a flared cap with an egg and dart moulding, raised on square base with Anthemion ornament to each corner, with a central floral motif and a Greek key frieze. Each raised on a newly carved stone base (optional) with an example opaque glass globe – not wired.
Old restorations and sandblasted, primed and re painted.
